There are three key parts to a winning sales force and they all start with the letter A. They are attitude, activity and acumen. In this video we look at the first of these, attitude.
The salesperson or team may be doing all the activity they need to be doing to get the sale, whether it’s making the phone calls or seeing prospects face to face, but their attitude is bad. They can be doing all the right activity, but if your attitude’s bad, that will translate into not getting good sales results.
It all starts with how you view selling? If you view selling as a process of using sales tactics and techniques to manipulate people to selfish ends, then that will sabotage you in the process of doing your own work in sales.
The focus is making sure that your sales team has the right view of selling and that they see their mission as helping people invest to meet their needs.
And to do that we as salespeople have a focus on the future no matter what’s in our past. To focus on the future, you have to reframe your past.
