Professional business coaching has exploded over the last couple of decades. There are a lot of different styles of coaching, and a lot of people out there who promote themselves as business coaches. But what should you, as a business owner, expect from a business coach?
Everybody has a different idea of what a coach does and what you can get out of the coaching relationship, but in this video, I explore five things from my point of view that you should expect from working with a good business coach.
The five things you should be looking for when evaluating a relationship with a business coach.
First of all, there is accountability. A lot of business owners don’t have anyone to hold them accountable for the things that they want to get done. And part of that reason is that a coach helps them perform at a higher level than they might otherwise be able to do on their own. Someone outside yourself is typically going to help you achieve more and do more than you might on your own.
